I am searching for a Baby Photo Book similar to the product manufactured by Sassy called "Who loves Baby", a product that is made of a soft material that you can insert photos into for baby to look at and learn to recognize family members. Unfortunately, this product manufactured by Sassy contains phthalates which I understand is not to be put in a baby's mouth. PHYSICS ASSIGNMENT
I have to do an experiment in physics class. We need to submit a car that will move on the falling of a weight, not to exceed 1kilogram in mass. It has to move about ten meters, and then stop at wall. To make this harder, I also need to put an egg on the front of it. Of course when it stops at the wall the egg can not break. Or the car can stop before hitting the wall at a dotted line. Do you have any ideas on how to make this project?

In the 1980's, we bought for our boys a toy called Pipeworks. It contains large plastic tubes that the child can connect to make structures. The pieces assemble and disassemble with the aid of a plastic wrench. Our ten year old still plays with it. We want to buy a set for our nephew, but cannot find the toy. PLASTER OF PARIS MONSTER MACHINE
I am trying to find the name of a great toy I had as a child, to give to my son. It is used for making hollow plaster of Paris busts and money-boxes of Dracula, Frankenstein, werewolf etc. It was available sometime in the late 70's to early 80's, I thought it's name was something like "Monster Machine" or "Monster Factory" and I think it was made by Mattel but I cannot find any reference anywhere on the web. Essentially, it involved filling a clear hard-plastic mould with plaster of Paris, then placing the mould in a plastic frame (I think the color of the frame was green and/or purple). After it is locked in place, you turn the handle of the machine for several minutes to spin the frame around and make the plaster spread throughout the mould. After it sets, the it can then be painted. I am looking for the name of this product, and if possible, where to purchase it. Please help. Thank you, Andrew

I have a childhood toy that I received in the late 1970's. It was purchased at a Saturday Market in Portland, Oregon. It is a plastic bird with plastic wings and it flies. There is a rubber band inside the body and when you wind up the band using a plastic handle on the tail. The wings flap and the bird flies. I still have the original box with extra bands. I know nothing about this toy except that the box is written in French and it says it was made in France. The names on the box are tim de Ruymbeke on the front of the box and the word Pax on the side. Do you have any information on this toy? Is there any monetary value? Do they still make them? I played with a toy in the 1960's. It was a small (around 2 x 3") hard plastic toy that was hollow with hinged legs. I had a bucket of them -- a horse, a cow, a sheep. I am looking for a way to order a kitchen that is made by The Original San Francisco Toy Company. I already have one of them. It is an incredibly well made miniature kitchen that has a lot of true-to-life parts. It has a refrigerator that has a front door water/ice dispenser (which makes the noise of ice/water going into a cup). It has a sink and a stove. The stove has four burners. Passing a frying pan with a pancake in it, from one burner to the next, makes the pancake flip. Other unique features include a popcorn popper that pops, a blender, a toaster, a ketchup bottle, and a container of Breyer's ice cream. PLAYGROUND KIDS SOFT BODY DOLL
I am looking for a soft body doll, about 6" tall with hard plastic head, hands and feet. Feet are oversized tennis shoes. They go by the name "Playground Kids" and were distributed by Ertl in the early 1990's. They have names like Jennifer and Laura and came with a piece of plastic playground equipment, i.e. a swing or merry-go-round. The letters "PK" are molded on the bottom of the shoes and "TCFC 1990" is printed on the back of the head. We had two of them and my now grown older daughters passed them down to their younger sisters. One of the dolls was lost and I would like to replace it as a gift to her. I bought my little girl a green stuffed dog for her first birthday from the United Kingdom in spring 2003. We have recently lost him and she's very very upset about it. He had a flat but stuffed face and very long arms that had beans in the paws. His body had no stuffing in at all but his feet were full of beans also. His face was cream and he had eyes that were lopsided and made by stitched on felt. There was also a blue mouse in the range who also had an unstuffed body. He was a cross between a toy dog and a comforter. The shop was Tiny Tinkers in Haywards Heath but they no longer stock them and they can't remember who makes them. I am looking for a duplicate of a stuffed animal purchased in July of 1997 at a hospital gift shop in Lansing, Michigan. The buyer at the gift shop told us the manufacturer might be Gund, Russ or Jaag. The animal is a pastel yellow giraffe approximately 8"-10" tall. The giraffe has a wind up key on the left side and plays Brahms' Lullabye". He has no spots, and he is in a seated position. The one that was purchased in 1997 is worn to a frazzle. After numerous washings the head has fallen off, but it is still my nephew's most beloved toy. Any help would be appreciated, Jan.

I have a stuffed animal dog that is about 2 feet tall and was bought at a Hallmark store in La Palma, CA in 1982. I can't read the tag anymore, but from what I can make out, the brand on it says in orange letter's "LOVE". So I am assuming the brand was "LOVE". He isn't a typical looking dog...he has arms and legs like a human would, but he is all stuffed and his face and ears are what make him a 'dog'. He is all brown with a white muzzle and a little white patch on his upper chest. I slept with him for many years as a child and so he is pretty worn. Look on Ebay and you will find plenty. Make sure you look at Ideal TCR though and not TYCO TCR as the two systems are not compatible. Geoff.

I am refinishing a very old Radio Flyer wagon that I bought at a farm auction in Elkhorn Nebraska. It's probably from the 1940's or 1950's. Maybe older? Are there any informative websites or books about old wagons? I need to figure out the year, the color scheme, and be able to know exactly what the logo looks like so that I can get it duplicated. RADIO SHACK - REMOTE CONTROL - TRUCK
I am looking to replace a remote control for a Radio Shack truck. I purchased it around mid 1980's I contacted Radio Shack, they told me that it was discontinued in 1988 and you can't get replacement parts anymore. I don't have the owners manual either to know what frequency it operated on. The transmitter operated on a nine volt battery, controlled forward/reverse, and left and right steering. My son recently "had" a ready set go truck made by Buddy L. and today his friend sent it down the stairs to its death. I am so mad. I have spent two hours searching the internet for a phone number for Buddy L so his friends dad can replace this toy. In 1973 I had a slide viewer record player. It was red and white and looked like a TV. The slide strip was put in on the top right, and the record player would play the record that went with the slides. I can't remember who made it or what it was called, if you can help me I'd appreciate it.

We have a new remote control backhoe, which we cannot get to operate. There does not appear to be an "on/off" switch. The only instructions detail how to insert batteries and how to use the joystick controllers. We returned the first one we bought, believing it was defective, however, the second one will not operate either.

Late 1960s, early 1970s. I had wire controled battery powered toy cars. One was red, I think a mid 1960's corvette; the other was a semi truck and trailer. Both were very large for a small boy. I remember the car as a Johnny Lightning. The control box had a "T" handle that moved forward, backward and twisted left and right to drive the car as the operator followed behind. I've , been looking ( without success ) for info. on a plastic ride on toy car convertible to a sled from the late 60's maybe early 70's - from what I remember it was a blue color body in kind of a open wheel racer design and you could pull the wheels off and install ski's (orange or red) to use in the snow (I grew up in Minnesota) I don't believe it was a pedal powered thing.
