Knock-Out/Muggins are two great math games on one wooden game board played with dice and colored marbles and is intended for 1 to 4 players. Both games are multi-level so they can be played by different skill levels by ages 6 to adult. They both involve math, thinking skills and most important, FUN. In Knock-Out, players add either two or three dice together (depending on the skill level) to produce a total. Then they break that total down into as many smaller numbers as they can to place their marbles on the board as much as possible. The object is to try to use numbers that your opponents only have one marble on so you can knock them out of those and/or use numbers you already have one on so you can capture that number for yourself to score a point. The winner is the first player to score 5 points. In Muggins, players add, subtract, multiply, and/or divide three numbers together to produce a total. The object is to try to make an answer that helps you build runs of your color marbles.
